Memories from the past

Have you ever visited a place like an abandoned town? I did it for the first time last sunday…I’ve gone into ruined houses where memories seemed floating in the air as in the forgotten things on the ground. The grass and the green ironically overwhelming among the walls and on the balconies. Shops closed but still recognizable by eroded signs using outdated words. Walking in the pure silence and feeling not used to it. Sun and colors where life has gone suddenly for an earthquake. Closing the yes, trying and imagine the normal life of the 60s, waiting for the evening and feel everything trembling. Going out, to mess up and abandoning everything. This is my story by my pictures. I hope they could tell my sunday morning in the silence.

Sitting at the corner of the street

A curtain in a kitchen

the forgot path through the grass

an old fashioned kitchen

the barber sign

Is there a sign of life here?

once upon a time

an old barber chair? maybe something about the doctor?

other charming shops

a crashed lamp for forgotten evening lectures

an old and eroded heater

demijohns

If you liked but you miss colors, please visit my other photoblog where I’ve posted some pictures of this place with its own colors.

Thank you for your visit!
