Landscape and Black&White: the eternal dilemma

Maybe not for everyone but to me deciding to shoot a landscape in B&W is a terrible choice to take. Renouncing the safe and known shelters of the brilliant colors of the sky, trees and grass, maybe flowers, can seem a risk or useless. Anyway, sometimes I like to try it and, I have to confess, the result doesn’t look that bad. I like colors but I often search for the essence and the simplicity. It could be a good way to live the life as well.
These are some mountains I love madly. We are in Abruzzo, in the middle of Italy. Their essence is the peace involving my soul where I’m staring at sky fighting with the clouds, listenning to the wind and admiring little clues of a fading snow. I’ve always found my path again when I’ve decided to spend some days there.
